Permaculture
Permaculture Design is a design theory that focuses on designing human-centered landscapes that creates a healthy living system for all the people, plants, animals, and resources involved. At Wild Eden Design we integrate these principles in order to create a highly functional landscape for every living thing.
Passive Solar Greenhouse Design
A Greenhouse can seriously improve the amount and diversity of crops that you can grow on your property as well as stretch the growing season through the cold winter months. We design our greenhouses using passive solar principals so that you can utilize the warmth of the sun to heat the structure during the cold months. We also integrate a "climate-battery" system which pulls warm air from the high point of the structure and redistributes it back into the soil.
Passive solar & Climate Battery
Passive Solar design in greenhouses aims to collect as much warm sunlight from the south as possible and direct that light onto a northern wall that has a large thermal mass to store the heat and release it during the cooler nights. A climate battery pulls warm air from the ceiling and redistributes that warm air deep in the soil. The soil then acts as a battery, releasing that warmth, slowly, back into the greenhouse. The added bonus of this circulation is that water molecules in the air condensate once the air hits the cooler soil, returning the water into the soil.

Wild Eden Design offers construction services for various projects ranging from Additions/Remodel, Landscape Installation, Dry-laid Stonework, Masonry, Carpentry, and Kitchen and Bathroom Remodels. We tend to take on smaller scale projects where attention to detail is a necessity. We are a small crew that strives to provide high-quality craftsmanship aimed at going above and beyond our customers expectations.
Stonework & Masonry
Wild Eden Design has a passion for the art of stone construction. Stone is one of the oldest building materials and the way we construct with it today is not all that different from the ways of the past. Whether it is a dry-stacked wall, archway, fireplace, or patio we love to get our hands in there.
Dry-laid stonework
Dry-laid stonework is done without the use of mortar joints. Each stone is carefully selected to fit into each spot to create a strong wall that can move with the earth over time and last for centuries.
Masonry
Masonry refers to any stone or brick work that includes mortar joints. The mortar binds the material together to form a monolithic structure. In New England we have an abundance of old brick that can be re-used to give new projects an "antique" look.
